The REALLY Dead Women Writers Meme

Alright, I need a meme break. Here is the beautifully educational meme of women writers prior to 1800 compiled by Bardiac. Apparently, I have a lot of reading to do.

In bold are the authors I've read at least an excerpt of--In italics the folks I'd like to read someday. I won't do ?? marks this time for ones I haven't heard of because that would just take too much time. Assume I haven't heard of a significant portion of these women! Great job Bardiac for putting this together!

Cool!

I'm hoping people will pick up and use the list in whatever way suits them. Your way's great!

I have lots of new reading now, too... and I'm still 400 years behind!

Thanks for starting the whole thing.
