Obsession (not the fragrance)

Try as I might, I continue to obsess over the job market/post doc issue. A lot of jobs postings came out in my minor field today, so I spent more time than needed pouring over them because none of the postings really fit me. But, they did lead me to some institutions that are hiring interdisciplinary faculty members, and there were a couple postings that definitely fit me like a glove. So, my application count is growing slowly. Two applications in my major field, none in my minor, and two in interdisciplinary areas. (And I just found two more PostDocs)
