Getting Organized

There is no fun way to solicit letters of recommendation--and I'm realizing that even for the few positions I have decided to apply for, I need a lot of them. I got through organizing and sending out information to four of my referees. I have four more to go--I'll finish that in the AM.

Still a little more to go on the teaching philosophy statement before I can send it out for feedback. I need to get moving on my sample syllabi as well. Fortunately, I have one draft from my comps, and a few drafts from days when I was procrastinating during seminar papers. I finally started to create some post-vacation momentum but it is going to be a busy week....
