Changes

I'm blogging again, but not over here. I went back and forth for a while and finally decided this space served it's purpose. As much as I want to blog about life on tenure track, I can't. My new boss is crazy and my university is changing. More things would be left unsaid than said. I will miss this space a great deal. I'm archiving my favorite posts and conversations and then deleting it all, and I'm quite sad about this.

But I'll leave with final good news:
1) I passed my third year review! The letter from my department was particularly supportive and helpful. I feel at least if things grow stranger beyond the dept level, I have genuinely fair and supportive colleagues.

2) Dr. J and I are finally expecting!! Baby will hopefully join us in the fall. Having your first trimester start the first week of school has made for a tough semester, but I'm feeling much better now and looking forward to bringing home Baby.
